Even the guitar you play would not work if there was no concept of electric charges. This field commonly holds the perception to revolve round standstill structures but the big picture in reality is that it keeps us alive in this modern technological world. It fascinates me how everything around me, from the circulation of the fan to the water that runs in my bathrooms, all belongs to the useful field of mechanical and electrical engineering. With the increasing population, work of engineers is getting extremely important to plan cities while using natural resources in the best possible way. Designing and material needs of a structure are not their only issue. Their innovative mind takes them beyond working out features like dams to store water that is running through the tunnels in huge amounts throughout the year. It is this importance of engineering to the world that attracts me to pursue my career in this …show more content…
And in order to find out more, I investigated the basic engineering involved in cars, such as the engine, the powertrain and superchargers. Following this, I explored the principles of flight after we briefly dealt with this topic in physics lessons. I also researched the achievements of engineers such as Brunel and Stephenson, and more recent projects like the Airbus A380 and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
The field requires skills to assemble each unit in its place, calculate support to withhold heavy structures. Being taught a good understanding of force systems, equilibrium, concept of work done, Hooke's law, I can implement them to the design of engineering structures for example structures to zap electricity over miles of metal
