Why Is Gene Mutation Bad

Gene mutations are cool things and can determine what genes offspring can have. Gene mutation is the permanent change of a DNA that forms a gene. I think that gene mutation is helpful because it shows that everyone is different in a way and genes can have many different combinations an can be altered in different ways. Scientists like me can figure out what gene mutation can happen based on certain traits and dna from parents to offspring. Some might say that gene mutation can be bad because a lot of change can be bad and gene mutation could be bad because the gene could become something that it is not supposed to be which could lead to health problems.
