Why Is It Better To Be Feared
I think Machiavelli try to say that its better to be feared because in a way

of security. If you are loved but not feared they will be haters so you

never going to be happy. They would try to bring you down in way or

another and this is cause because they want to be like you or have what

you have , in other case if you are feared no body would talk bad about

you nobody will bother you, and if you don't have someone who bother is

one less problem. But I also think that if you are feared you in one

moment you will feel alone and by other hand being love I think you

always gonna have someone who be with you no matter what because if

you are feared people would not like to be with because they would not

be sure if they are safe

Next, one who is feared. The worst is one who is despised.” (207) Machiavelli insists that though to be both loved and feared would be best, being the two at once is impossible, thus “it is much safer to be feared than to be loved when one of the two must be lacking.” (227) On the subject of being despised, Machiavelli fest strongly that a Prince should avoid being considered that at all costs. “A prince must guard himself against being despised and hated[...]”…

Robert Dallek once said, “Don’t be intimidated by people who seem to be experts. Hear their point of view and get their judgment because it is not their life that is going to be affected as much as your future”. Why is it that human beings feel intimidated by others? Everyone has their own fears and insecurities. In A Separate Peace by John Knowles, the main character and the narrator, Gene Forrester feels a sense of inferiority to his best friend, Phineas (Finny). When an individual feels intimidated by another, they do anything within their capability in order to feel secure. An individual may search for ways to be overpower someone, try new things to fit in, and hope that the other lands in a certain predicament. People should strive to…

Juliet uses many metaphors and allusions to demonstrate or describe her thoughts and lust for Romeo. She begins her riddle of allusions by asking phaeton’ s carriage to bring in the dark of night for Romeo to arrive in this quote(3.2.2) “ Toward Phoebus lodging such a wagoner driver.” . She then thinks of how fast the night will come and how much she wants the night to come in this following saying of Juliet (3.2.4)“ bring in the cloudy night immediately.” . Romeo is supposed to come to Juliet at night, by climbing up the ladder. She hopes when he climbs up the ladder he will do what Juliet says in this following line (3.2.7) “ Leap to these arms untalked of and unseen.” She is anxiously dreaming and thinking of her husband arrival.…

Machiavelli thought human nature was two-dimensional. He saw humans as predictable, foreseeing their responses to the princes’ actions. Because humans are so unsophisticated in Machiavelli’s eye, they can only love or hate their prince, making them unable to see an intermediate to the good and bad in their ruler. Humans’…

Fyodor Dostrevsky said, “Fear is simply the consequence of every lie.” This quote means that you aren’t afraid of the action you made but you’re scared of the action that are going to be made toward you as a punishment. This quote agreeable because a lot of the time when a person lies there thinking right then an there, the fear of what’s going to happen to you when the truth comes out is what punishes you the most not the actual consequence it’s self. Fyodor Dostrevskys quote is evident in All-night Part by R.L.Stine and The Crucible by Arthur Miller because in each wok of literature they all have to face the consequences of lying and the fear of their punishment.…

According to Fyodor Dostoevsky, “fear is simply the consequence of ever lie”. This means being frightened is usually the result of being dishonest. I agree with this quotation. From my experience I have learned that not telling the truth comes back to you. Of Mice and men and to kill the mockingbird are both connected to this quotation.…

AAAA It is much better to feared rather than loved. This exactly what is too be learned from Source B. “It is much safer to be feared than loved.” Then the passage goes on to explain how men are more likely to act out against a King who is loved rather than one who is feared. This goes hand in hand with the thesis being a beloved leader can be one to push over while a feared leader is much less likely because obviously, he is feared. Then source A goes on to say…

Have you heard about stereotypes? Stereotypes are any idea or thought about specific group of people. However, it could be true and it could be wrong. It could be offensive and it could be not. For instance, the idea that crying only for girls not boys, or the Japanese are very smart, or Saudis are reach people who are living in the desert. These stereotypes usually come based on media or cultures sometimes. One of these stereotypes that I have suffered from is that united states is very dangerous place.…

“Fear is simply the consequence of every lie”. This quote from Fyodor Dontovesky is trying to say that every time someone is making a lie that they don’t want anyone else to know and when people realize what really happened then consequences are very severe. I agree with this quote in that every lie has a consequence. For example one person in one of the novels I have read has made many lies and lives on the fact that he lies a lot and his name is Holden from the book “Catcher in the Rye”. The other novel was a novel of poetry or a play by William Shakespeare called “Romeo and Juliet” and the major lie in this story would later on in the play have a major consequence for both the two lovers.…
