Why Is It Wrong To Judge A Person's External Appearance?
people will judge other people every day and I think it is wrong to judge people's exterior appearance.

one reason you should not judge a person's outer appearance is because you might not know why they are like that. the main people that judged are gays, lesbians, transgender and people who wear ugly clothes. The people that do the most judging is none other than GIRLS, they are always the ones to judge because of looks. I watched this movie one called "a girl like her" and the girl, Jess, was judged because she was quiet and a rumor went around saying that she was a fake friend that just uses people. this rumor was made up by a girl, Avery, who used to be her best friend wanted to take revenge on her. when people started judging her she was so upset and they would say such rude things about her that hurt her feelings. But when people started to get to know her they found out she was a nice, kind, girl. Avery didn't like all the attention she was getting so she started to abuse her and that just pushed her to attempt suicide, which could hurt her. When the other students found out Avery was being judged and was getting the same treatment at Jess was getting, but even worse when Jess's best friend, Brian, found out. Brian wanted to ruin her because she did such a thing. After a while, people found out she was in a coma and everyone was devastated. Avery found out she was

when people found out about this they started to judge her saying that she is a horrible person and that she should be thrown in jail. I think it was unfair to say that stuff to her because all of us make mistakes. Just like how she did and you shouldn't judge a person like that just for that reason especially like that. Other people make mistakes just like that but they don't get

It's not like I'm suddenly changing from the person you've always known -this is more about your willingness to see who I've always been.” People judge others just by looking at them on the outside but not is what is in the inside. People always jump into theories about people without getting to know them. People aren’t how other people see they are.…

In the novel Uglies, Tally Youngblood (ugly) feels she is ugly because society put that label on her. This book helped me in many ways one of them was not judging people just because they don’t compare to my standards. Before I had read this book whenever I saw what I thought was an unbalanced couple where the guy or girl was too pretty for the other. I would tell my brother that they don’t belong together because she’s too pretty for him, how did he end up with her, or why would she date someone so ugly compared to her. Now whenever I see a couple or I’m talking to one I ask them how they ended up together and whether they are in love. I don’t judge people anymore on how they look but their personality.…

I think we, as humans, “discriminate” one another because it’s in our nature. When we are trying to figure out where we fit in this world, we desire to look like and portray what we aspire to be, and because we have so many diverse interests, ultimately it causes us to separate ourselves amongst each other. While one person may choose to associate themselves with someone who is clean cut and modest, another person could very well want to befriend someone whose body resembles an art canvas. People come from different backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles, so there will always be a difference in the way people act, dress, and look. There will always be some kind of discrimination in the world, whether it be racial, sexual, religious, or in this case, looks and physical attributes.…

In the world that we live in today, prejudice and stereotyping has a great impact on our perspectives of others. Every day, people are criticized and judged on their appearance based their body weight, their height and the way we look. I myself have also experienced judgement due to my physical appearance. To start, I am taller than most people my age, and it causes people to view me as powerful, athletic and intimidating. Also my thin frame evokes prejudice and leads others to underestimate my abilities; they assume that I am weak. Lastly, people have different first impressions of me based on my tattoo and the way I dress. These physical traits provoke both positive and negative criticism. Ultimately, people do not judge me based on my behaviour and personality, but rather based on the way I present my body and my physical appearance.…

I do agree with the fact that you should not be affected by the appearance of a person. Transcendentalism also confirms the above idea. There are three main reasons that we should not decide to do something according to his/her appearance; First, it may lead to a misjudgment about that person. Second is the fact of differences between appearance and one's real personality. Finally, it may make you ashamed!…

In September 1992, Chris McCandless was found in an abandoned bus in Alaska. Into the Wild is his story. But what is his story supposed to teach us? McCandless's journey into the wilderness is ultimately one of self-discovery and reinvention. Through his travels, he transforms from an angry, recent graduate, eager to break all ties with his family, into a wanderer and amateur mountaineer. But, in the end he dies of starvation. While Krakauer says that a "raw, transcendent experience" is almost impossible to reach, he does acknowledge that there is some appeal in discovering one's self along the brink of death and danger (Chronicling). But, he suggests…

Society puts labels on women such as "slut," "whore," and "easy," when all they want is to express themselves by wearing what they want. I do believe that women do judge other women more harshly than men do. Some women look at other women and even if they don't know them automatically assume that they are a slut because of what they're wearing. All women should have…
