Why Is Jerusalem Important?

Jerusalem is holy because it has an importance to three faiths, this may include Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. What these religions have in common is that they all have a way to pray at a sacred site. With the three faiths, they're all connected to each other and share the past with each other.
