Why Is Julius Caesar Bad
Julius Caesar was a man of many talents. He was a clever military leader, an accomplished public speaker, and a political genius. Many people have many different opinions on whether or not Julius Caesar was bad for the Roman Republic. You may ask, what is the Roman Republic? Well, the Roman Republic was the first republic ever formed. It was formed in 509 B.C., when the Romans overthrew the Etruscan rulers. It was a society ruled by the people, with a Senate that was originally made up of only patricians, Rome’s upper class. Eventually, they allowed Plebeians to be a part of the Senate as well. I will explain these theories, along with compelling evidence for and against him. Let’s begin.
