Back before Caesar made changes to Rome get citizenship for people who were foreigners was an impossible feat. Thanks to Julius Caesar foreigners could be a citizen and get all the perk of being a Roman citizen. They would be able to vote, which they could not do before hand. They could own land, join the army, and not be considered barbarians life became easier for them. Julius became a beacon of hope for these foreigners and gave them the freedom they deserved.
The Roman Republic was corrupt and unfair where the rich only got richer and the poor only became poorer. When Caesar reformed the republic it became more unified and fair. First of all he added more senators to the senate so it would be less corrupt. He appointed 300 new senators who were not interested in becoming richer and actually want to help better Rome. It is true that Julius Caesar did rage war against Rome and named himself dictator for life and just did some bad things. Yet he also did so many good things to make up for what he did, he lowered the Roman debt to way less that it was. He lowered the debt by canceling all of the interest payment all the way back from 49 B.C.E and by allowing the Roman tenets to not pay rent for one year.
