Shakespeare does a good job showing how some humans try to get revenge on someone. Shakespeare’s play can also relate to our lives. Backstabbing happens everywhere. A real life example of backstabbing is if you took money from someone and then blame your best friend by saying he or she did it. Another example is being friends with someone who has a lot of money and then ditching them once they give you something expensive. Human nature is not perfect. In fact, humans are prone to do bad things because of influences and beliefs of others. This is basically the same betrayal Brutus committed against Caesar. It also shows that humans are somewhat disobedient. Brutus was very loyal to Caesar when he became leader. But something changed between him and Caesar because then Brutus began to go against him. A real life example is if we began to become allies with a country and then the country declares war with us later on. Shakespeare is trying to send the message that our human race is messed up and that we need to fix it. With all this betrayal, it can ruin relationships with anyone and can end up killing someone. Therefore; we need to start changing the way we think about others and believe in what we know, not what someone else told you. Believe in what you want. If you don’t, then the continuous backstabs with others will take over our lives. This is the reason why Shakespeare wrote this play. He wants us to know what happens when you go against someone so extremely that you end up killing him. But no matter what, there will always be someone in our world that “stabs” their friend or even family in their backs.
