I believe it’s unethical to create a child to meet specific genetic requirements, such as to have higher IQ, or to have a certain physical appearance. I think the decision made by Brian and Sara was unethical. They were selfish; not considering the morality of their decision, while leaving out how Anna will feel about this. As a result of their decision, two children ended up suffering instead of just one. They took advantage of being a parent to make their children do what they wanted them to do. They never considered Kate’s feeling when they decided to have Anna, who was basically created for her.
