Why Is Patagonia Getting Faster
So Patagonia is getting hotter, has less water, and is becoming prone to drought, but why? For started it is getting hotter, like the rest of the world, because of the increase in greenhouse gases. The temperature climbing melts the glaciers, ice, and snow so the albeto drops, which then causes everything to get hotter. But then why is it getting hotter faster than other places with nearly the same geography? The reason, which may sound strange, is that it is close to Antarctica.The energy in the atmosphere that is carried to the poles through large weather systems is making the temperature skyrock compared to other areas of the world. Considering how close Antarctica, and Argentina are it makes sense why Argentina is getting the backlash
