William Shakespeare... Seriously! Why are we still learning about him? Is he still all that relevant? Everyone says that we should leave the past behind and look into the future, but don’t you think that’s a bit hard when you're stuck in class, listening to facts about a dead guy and his life, who lived 400 years ago! Well, it's my job to convince you otherwise. So why don’t you leave your attitude behind and open your mind to learn a few things about why Shakespeare is still relevant to society today!

Well, back then, the language used was WAY more important than the logic of sentence structure!
Along with writing 37 plays, he also had a large input into the English language. He inventing 1700 words! Now, you may be wondering why that gibberish that he used is revenant to the modern society. Well, I guess you didn't know that he invented some of the most used words today, such as blanket, hint, elbow, gossip and so many more! Not only did Shakespeare invent so many words, he also created many popular phrases and sayings that we still use today!
