Why Is Thanksgiving Important
Thanksgiving is the time of year you give thanks to God for the bountiful harvest. Thanksgiving is now a statutory holiday in most parts of Canada, with the exception of the Atlantic provinces. In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. I remember the cold Monday morning in 2009 when my whole family got together and celebrated Thanksgiving. We usualy dont celebrate thnaksgiving but this time my cousins insisted we do. All of our close reletives came to my cousin's house and celebrated it. Even though we didnt have the traditional thanksgiving dinner it was good. We had a great time and it was the first time all of our relatives were together (exept weddings).
