When the stock market crashed 1929 the years weren't as bad. But then when the Dust bowl hit the Midwestern America. The Great Depression was before the Dust Bowl had occurred. When people from the midwestern area had such a hard time growing crops and earning a living. For the people who once lived in the fastest growing country everything went downhill from that point. Many people from the area that was so great for living and farming.
The in the area left their houses and they were gone. Then when the people who once lived there left they leave it when ever and they go to the city to get money. Some people sell apples for 1 cent. Some people that chose to stay they need to clean of things because of the dust. The people in the dust bowl Were also in the Depression and it was very bad for their farms. The Dust Bowl was so bad that when people were in their house if you were to have a light in your house you wouldn’t be able to see that far and in that case about nothing you could just see it glowing. And if you wanted to see you would need to open a window have a house with no holes so dust won’t get into your house.

The crash in 2008 was not even close to a quarter as bad as the Great Depression. Many people died lost their homes and only if you were one of the smart ones like my grandparents they had spare money and they didn’t have it in a bank. Herbert Hoover was one of the worst if not the worst. My opinion was because he didn’t care about it and he thought that it would just roll over it. He spent so much money on things that he dosen’t need. Like the Hoover Dam he could of not done that until the depression was over. That is completely
