Why Is The Things They Carried Important To Me

As an individual’s, we carried something in our lives that meant something that could be a small object or something inside us. In “The Things They Carried,” many outlook on the things the soldiers carried or dealt. It shows us the many reasons why and how the soldiers possessed these things individually and how it was important for them. This doesn’t happen only in the war but in a daily day, we carry something special that has meaning. It could be any small object that tells something about us or a feeling that we carry inside. One object that I carry with me in a daily basis is a book called, “His Footsteps My Footstep.” Something else that I carried that tells something about me will be photos of my nephews. The first book reminds me to how to follow Gods path and show me all the marvels miracles he has done. It also shows me what I good thing I’ve accomplish for the day. At the same time, it keeps me in his path and reminds me that he is always with me and never will leave me. I also carry my diary everywhere I go so that I can write the important events that happen to me. This diary is small and it fit anywhere like in my backpack or purse.
