Why Is Triggering Important
Triggering, something that is a part of present-day society. Many people are prone to having a trigger in many topics whether it is family, politics, religions, relationships, personal experiences, etc. Even though some people are triggered much more accessible than others, everyone has at least one sensitive trigger. If a person says something unintentionally, triggering can still occur because it causes someone to become very uncomfortable. Therefore, trigger warnings should be needed in all cases, especially in college where many students are confronted with disturbing and controversial topics. But at the same time trigger warnings limits the ability of individuals to have a stronger education.
