Sports take kids energy out of them. Practices run late, and by the time teens come
home they are end up being exhausted to even do their homework or study for a test the next day. “By mixing sports and academics, we tempt kids into believing that it’s okay if they don’t like math or writing”. This is not okay. Why do we let this happen? We need to put an end to having kids thinking this type of thing. I mean having kids play sports isn't all bad it keeps them in good shape out of trouble, and sometimes gets them into colleges, but in some cases that doesn't always turn out that way for some people
Sports make school more fun that’s no secret, but kids need their education that’s no secret either. Math is a very important part of someone’s life. When they get a job they need to know math. So that they can give the correct money back to the costumer. Or if someone’s giving you money they have to pay back. You need to know if they are giving you the right amount. Writing is another thing you should know. So when you go to an interview you speak properly to whoever is asking questions.
These are the reason that I feel like sports should be a big thing at school, because kids need their education and need to learn math, and writing. Once again so they could have great jobs that they love and so that they can make good money for their family. Also they can have a great home to live in.
