Why Larceny Is Bad

Property crimes include several different things. First, burglary, that is when you intentionally break into a house or building and want to commit a crime (1). Burglary is bad because it’s taking things that aren't yours. Stealing things is bad because you can be a bad influence on other kids or any other person. If I got stolen from I would feel pretty mad and would be pretty angry at the person.

Second, larceny, is theft of a personal item (2). Larceny is bad because it's stealing someone's personal item from them. If larceny happened to me I would be mad, because people shouldn't take things that aren't theirs. You shouldn't steal from someone and especially not one of their personal items. If you committed a larceny crime it might affect your chances of getting a good job.
Theft is bad because invasion of privacy, that is when someone invades your personal stuff. It's bad like the rest because of the bad influence and because it’s taking something that's not yours. Stealing is obviously bad because we made laws to prevent it.

Fourth, theft of a car, that is when you steal a car (4). Stealing a car is really low down because it’s not right if you need a can, buy your own. Like if someone stole your car you would be pretty mad at them, I know I would be mad. Stealing is bad but stealing a car, in my perspective, is even worse.

Fifth, arson, an action of purposely setting fire to property (5). Things on fire is really bad, also it is a really big risk. You have a hazard of setting things on fire and burning a whole forest. You could also kill lots of animals or humans by setting things on fire, especially if you don’t have the fire under control. People would commit arson because they don’t care about anyone but
