But in recent times it seems that people are finding less and less reason to get married. In America, the marriage rate has significantly dropped in the last 50 years while divorce rates continue to climb. This could be a result of how people may be unaware of the facts of how marriage is actually a very valuable and resourceful tradition that offers many benefits to those whom take part in it.
The first way the custom of marriage is beneficial, is financially. The ability to share deductions for children, mortgage payments, and other aspects of a joint life can generate significant savings for both individuals who want to get married. Another financial benefit is that when people get married they can share insurance plans such as auto, health, and life. This leads to cost reduction and creates better financial security. The next reason why marriage is something to be considered is the obvious. Being in love and starting a family.
