Why MBA
After completing 16 years of education from India, I spent my first 8 years of the total work experience of 10 years working with diverse cultures in India. I worked in a wide range of organizations from different sectors, including technical contact center and IT management. I was involved in leading and managing projects that dealt with business transition and strategic implementation of new projects.
I then moved to the U.S, where I have been employed full time as an Analyst in an IT department since last two years. In my profile as an analyst, I am responsible for project management, IT service management, infrastructure management, and change management. I am the go-to-person in the absence of my supervisor and am required to take crucial decisions and attend meetings involving key business stakeholders.
At this stage in my professional journey, I am considering ways to provide more stability to my career and develop the cutting edge skills and knowledge needed to take on more responsibilities. With my enrolling into MBA with concentration in Management, I will better prepare myself to achieve my short-team career objective as a supervisor. The project management principles and business leadership skills acquired in the MBA program will help me analyze the situations better at business, become a better strategic and global thinker, an effective communicator, a confident decision maker, and have a tactical edge while devising business strategies with a rationale. This MBA program will help provide invaluable information to my existing business skills that I have acquired over the years.
The online MBA course will give me the opportunity to choose from a wide spectrum of electives, which will broaden my horizons and will help in my all round development.
