Males usually make offensive jokes and degrading comments more than females do in order to feel more superior. In the modern society, offensive and rudely funny anecdotes look more attractive to the majority of the people. This arrogant behavior is a kind of men’s own way to indicate themselves as leaders and flatter their egos. According to the researchers, in most cases, men prefer sexist jokes more than women do (Brodzinsky et al. 1981) and this leads to women’s disapproval in their senses of humor (Smelze &Leap 1988, Romero & Cruthirds, 2006). Also, men approve their own jokes, tell them among their friends and enjoy them (Decker & Rotondo, 2001), however, they can not realize offensiveness and rudeness in them. Moreover, in today’s world, men’s sexual humor is not criticized adequately, therefore; society normalizing it as a normal behavior.
