I think this quote describes him because even though we have never had a lot he teaches me how to be thankful for what I do have and to not take anything for granted. My dad teaches me a lot of values like to always have faith, love, and be thankful. He teaches me to have faith because he knows if I have faith then I can get through struggle that I face. He also knows if he can not be there for me that it is okay because God will always be there to protect me and love me. I also personally think that if you have faith you can get through a lot because you always will have it with you to help guide you. Another value that he teaches me to have is love. He teaches me to show love to everyone around me and to love everything that I have. I think to have love makes you a strong person. I think this because if you love someone who has hurt you, then it makes you strong because you overcame something big and forgave that person. Lastly, he teaches me to always be thankful for what I have and to never take something for granted. I think it is really important to always be thankful because often times I do not appreciate all that I have. I also think it is important to not take anything for granted. I think this because when you do not appreciate something that you have, then it might be gone one day and you will miss having it, because you never realized how much it meant to you and never took the time to be thankful for it. My dad is the best because I know he will always be there to support me and love me. He is always there to help me with sports, homework, and in general anything I need help with.
