Why Odysseus Is A Hero

Odysseus is a hero. He displays many qualities that make him a hero. He is a leader that takes charge, he fights for what he believes in, he tries to keep his men alive or do something for the greater good, and his driving force is very important to him. He is a hero. Odysseus is a leader and he puts himself in harm's way those are two reasons I believe he is a hero. I’m not saying that you need to be a leader to be a hero, I’m saying that in the story Odysseus took charge and put himself in harm's way. Heroes tend to put themselves in harm's way quite often, and leaders tend to be put in tough situations. War heroes become heroes in one of the most dangerous places to be. They are tested and they prevailed, some of them are heroes. They come out on top and we may never forget them. They were put to the test and they passed. Odysseus went to war and he was tested there. He was the one
Such as all his men dieing. I addressed that already and it isn’t Odysseus’s flat. Another one might be that he cheated on his wife. The first time he cheated he was forced, but the second time he cheated it was by choice. The second time however he was trying to get the answer to something and the path he chose was the easiest route to take. It was that or being stuck at sea for who knows how much longer. The murder at the end of the book can not be overlooked either. Killing is wrong but when the story was made it was ok. Of course I wouldn’t want my hero to kill people, unless it’s a war hero. I don’t think that this can make him not a hero. He was getting revenge. Many people have been blinded by rage. Odysseus is in many ways a hero. He is a good guy that the gods decided to mess with. He was tested and came out on top. He is a leader the fights for what he believes in. He does what is important to him. He wanted to to go home. In the end he finally made it to the place where he always wanted to be. He
