In order to get an Associate Degree as well as transferring to other institutions of higher education, I have chosen to study at Orange Coast College which has many important benefits for me such as having a happy life near my family, learning in the best educational environment and receiving many good support services.
As a matter of fact, Orange Coast College is the best educational environment in Orange County as well as one of the finest and largest community colleges in the United States. Indeed, Orange Coast College offers more than 130 academic and career programs (1). If you have a good plan for your courses, you can walk out with your general education completed, certificates of achievement and even the Associate in Arts degree. Although I already studied some Finance and Banking courses in Vietnam, now I want to develop my knowledge specifically in financial accounting so that I can reach my career goal as

At first, Orange Coast College offers experienced professors with different teaching methods for different learners, as well as various lectures and labs that are often transferable to other institutions (3). My older sister, who graduated from Orange Coast College and transferred to UC Irvine one year ago, tells me that I could learn to appreciate how much the professors at this school care for me compared to UC's. Plus, administrators, faculty, and staff are committed to the development of students as individuals and as citizens of the world. There's lots of resources here especially their outstanding tutoring center. I used to come here all the time when I was stuck on homework questions. Their tutors are really knowledgeable. Moreover, Student Services have always been really cool when I needed things and I think the counselors are pretty good, reliable and very helpful

El Camino maybe one of many community colleges in the South Bay Area but what defines it is it's somewhat professional air around it. El Camino maybe a community college but it has the same feeling as though you are in a four-year. I wouldn't be surprised by the time that I am a full grown adult that El Camino will be known as a CSU because it's still building to accommodate new buildings just like any other four year university and and I believe that people are starting to notice all the opportunities that will come with attending El Camino. The most recent example which shows how highly recommended El Camino is was when I was going to Dominguez Hills to ask what would better my chance to to attend their school and the admissions Office lady…

These past few weeks at AXIA College online have been great. The resources available are great we have an online library that gives you access to virtually anything. We have some really cool writing centers and for me and my scattered brain, I think it’s going to help me put all my thought’s down effectively. We even have a center to help out for math. The online classroom and campus is so easy to navigate and get used to. I really like the online classroom environment and discussion. It is fun to interact with classmates from around the country. Our online books are cool too! But the biggest thing is the faculty and staff of UOP is really what made this all possible for me from the ease of the enrollment to financial process. I must admit at first I was little intimidated, but after the orientation I felt right at home. I think maybe with your busy schedule you might want to consider this college for yourself.…

Community colleges are smaller than universities. Students will find them to have fewer enrollments which mean smaller classroom sizes. They have a better chance of getting hands on learning, asking more questions and learning course material better. Community colleges have strong advising systems and the advisers know their students well. The courses are usually taught by professors unlike some universities whose courses may taught by grad students. Small colleges as these do not offer near as many courses or academic programs as universities. Tuition at community colleges are so much more cheaper than universities, you may have tuition as much as $3,500.00 to 5,500.00 at community colleges versus $30,000.00 to $50,000.00 at universities and that itself is a great deal to consider. Another great thing about attending a local community college in your area is that most people can drive back and forth from their own home. They do not have to worry about dorm cost or finding apartments to rent when going away to college universities.…

Lewis and Clark has the perfect balance of what I know I love and what will be new and challenging for me. I was raised in Washington and moved to Colorado in middle school. By having the Pacific Ocean 80 miles away and Cascade Mountains 50 miles east, the location has the best of both worlds. I have also gone to both private and public schools so I know how important teacher involvement is. I am interested in a school that has faculty that are as dedicated in their teaching as I am in my want to learn. The fact that 93% of faculty hold the highest degree in…

For my post-secondary schooling, I have been accepted into, and planning to attend, Georgia Southern University. I chose this school for many different reasons, and going to orientation expanded those reasons. Georgia Southern offers many great opportunities for what I want to do in life. The campus is about an hour away from where I currently live, so it is close to home but not too close to home. The professors and staff are friendly and want to see the students succeed and are always ready to help. I could go on and on about why I chose this school, but I believe…

It’s filled with artsy people who all want to do stuff within the arts. This makes for people to find friends more easily. Unlike USC, which is a college focusing on multiple forms of curriculum; this adds to a lot of variety. Tim Burton a famous student that graduated from the California institute of the arts says that, “He felt himself to be part of “a collection of outcasts. You know, you usually kind of feel alone in that way, like you’re the outcast in your school. And then all of a sudden you go to this school filled with outcasts! I think the rest of CalArts thought the Character Animation people were the geeks and weirdos. It was the first time you met people that you could kind of relate to, in a strange way.” (Kashner, 1). This shows that everyone at the school doesn’t feel alone. Most of the people at the school have friends, or people to talk to. You can’t be a misfit when you’re surrounded by people with the same…
