Why People Shouldnt lie
Why people shouldn’t lie?
Sometimes people for their own benefit may do anything, including lie. But what is actually lies, and why people lie to their relatives? Why instead of truth they choose lies?
One of the main reasons can be anxiety. Anxiety of getting in trouble and being abused. Fear that no one will understand your problem. Understand how you feel and what you think. Most of the times people are just getting confused in what others will think. When a person is lying he doesn’t think about the consequences and that some days everybody will find it out. But when it all comes out your condition even gets worsen. Now no one will believe you anymore, until you will earn the trust. People will treat you in the same way as you treated them. They will treat you with no respect and they will not care about what you think.
As I said, lying about what you've done makes the situation far worse. It will not only make your relatives do not trust you but even you yourself will suffer too. Your conscience will not allow you to live calmly. The first thing you have to do is to think about your decision .Think about decision of which you will not regret. It is very easy to make a mistake but it is very difficult to take back what you’ve already said. Most of the times people think that it is too late to tell the truth and this is a big problem. It is never too late to confess; because when people will see that you are honest with them, even though you lied to them already, they still will appreciate that. They will see that you understood your mistake and they will absolutely forgive you.
You might think that the only consequence that might happened is that you will get abused. Most likely your parents will scold you, but not because they really want to do so ,It’s because they love you and want to make you a better person .Usually children are getting offended by their

Lies are told every day by you, me, and even your close loved ones. Everyone lies at some point in their lives. The simple true is we all lie. While reading the “Ways We Lie” by Ericsson’s it was very clear that lies are being told more than the truth. She explains many different types of lies being told from the smallest of lies to protect the emotional state of others, to the extreme lies being told and merely ignoring the plain facts of lies that cause real pain.…

Stephanie Ericsson is going to explain lying in her article “Ways We Lie” her main point is to show that lying is not only going to hurt you but also others. I agree with Ericsson about all people lie. Ericsson starts off with explaining the white lie which is a lie that you use when you think it is necessary to lie rather than to tell the truth. Sometimes you think a lie is easier for someone to handle rather than the cold hard truth.…

The dictionary defines a lie as, “a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.” However, while the intent of a lie is to deceive, that deceit is not always intended to cause detriment to others. Lies can be told for justifiable reasons such as to protect the feelings of others, but more often lies are told for the wrong reasons. For example, lies are mostly told to avoid the consequences of one’s actions such as with criminal activities and academic misconduct. When comparing acceptable and unacceptable reasons to lie, the unacceptable reasons greatly outnumber the acceptable.…

Whether it be to protect a friend, boost one’s confidence, gain a reward or raise or just to bother a peer, lies are dropped everywhere. Lying, although normally portrayed as a negative influence on society, is used for a number of reasons. In particular lying may be used when someone becomes too hesitant to tell the truth, for fear of a response they would deem unenjoyable. Someone may lie to begin rumors; for a better feeling of self-esteem upon themselves or an associated clique. Even a body as huge and widespread as the government lies daily, whether it be for the greater good or not. Before someone reluctantly shuts out lying because it is deemed harmful and toxic to relationships among others, they must first take a step back and view the picture from an open-minded…

    Is Lying Bad?

First and foremost, lying effects you extremely. If you tell a little white lie such as, "Does this dress make me look fat?" "No!", then you may have some guilt riding on your shoulders. If you tell a huge, important lie, then the guilt will be riding on your shoulders like a one thousand pound weight. For instance, what the president did. After a pointless lie, the whole nation is totally poor and most likely starved because of the lack of money for food and water. People lie everyday to, in someway or another, keep themselves out of trouble. Many teenagers will lie to their parents about what they are doing for the evening, how much of their homework they have done, or how that glass vase got broken while they were out of town. We even lie to our boyfriends or girlfriends about who that other boy was that called the house or what exactly we did with our friends last night. All anyone is trying to accomplish by this is to stay out of trouble when we know we've done wrong; but we never think of the effects of lying. Although we think we're being sly, parents are usually smarter than we give them credit for! Eventually there will be no point…

Lies have powerful effects on all of us based on the lecture “The Truth about Lying” by Judith Viorst. At an early age, I found out that lies could change our opinion about the people that lie to us and their credibility. It is not necessary to lie since if we feel that the truth might hurt the other person, a polite silence should suffice.…

Lying is wrong on so many levels…many of the topics relating to lying are through trust. Tust is a big issue in modern America, including losing it, the lack of trust from American to American! We cant trust each other, no matter what happens to a fellow friend. My youth pastor shawn and I had a very good discussion about the positives and negatives through lying. Through our discussion, he couldn’t stress enough about trust within the other people. He got caught lying by his parents when he was sixteen. He could not go past san Pedro to surf, and one day he was going surfing and told his parents he was going to San Pedro to surf. While he was heading to long beach to surf, he got a ticket, and his mother had to go to teen court with him and found out the he was going to long beach, and got caught within his lie. As for his punishment, he got his keys taken away for a while, as well as having to call and check in with his parents all the time. This happened to me as well, when I got caught drinking going in to my sophomore year, I remember having to ride home every 2 hours to check in with you guys. He said that was horrible, and I could not agree more. “THOU SHALT NOT LIE” (10 commandments). This is a sin through God when you lie, so by lying you are hurting god with what you say. God is our father in heaven and he ulitimately is what we believe in as Christians. Lying is wrong and the people that I have talked to could not stress this enough to me.…

    Why Is Lying Important

In my paper, I have chosen to argue that it is permissible to lie to patients under some circumstances. There are many factors that contribute to a healthy relationship between healthcare professionals. While truthfulness is one of these many factors, there are some cases where it is necessary to stretch the truth or conceal the truth. There are many scenarios in which a healthcare professional may need to conceal certain issues until further investigation. It is also common to conceal the truth for the emotional well-being of some patients. Lying is often considered wrong, but in some circumstances, it may help a patient to cope with problems so it’s important to look at the possible benefits.…
