why planting a tree could save the world
When people talk about plating a tree to save the environment and the world, they think it’s a metaphor or a joke, but in reality one tree can make a massive difference in today’s society. Planting a tree is such a simple thing to do but it has many long-term benefits and it can make a huge difference towards the environment. Trees have played a critical role in maintaining safe levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere for millions of years.

Trees remove and store CO2 from the atmosphere as they grow. They do this by the process of photosynthesis. They use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the "fuel" used by all living organisms. Trees play an important role in addressing climate change and assisting our agricultural areas to be more sustainable. They do this by helping to reduce atmospheric CO2 levels. They can also assist in preventing salinity and soil erosion, provide shade, food and habitat to native animals.

Trees also clear our air by absorbing air pollution. And they clean a lot of air. Again, to put this into perspective, the easiest way is to quantify air pollution control in monetized terms. Be prepared for another big number her. In a life time, a single tree provides $62,000 worth of air pollution control.

On a world wide scale, trees help to slow down the effects of global warming by using up carbon dioxide and giving out the oxygen we need to breathe.
On a local neighbourhood level, trees offer shade and shelter, which in turn reduces the amount of energy we need to heat and cool buildings, at the same time they remove the impurities from the air we breathe.
Urban trees are especially important because for many people they provide the only daily contact with the natural world away from all the busy cities.

Many people across the world go around spreading the word about plating trees and this happens everywhere from America to Russia. There are organizations that donate money and the materials to keep this project going. The volunteers are all willing to help the earth and keep the planet functioning better for the future. Our population is growing bigger and bigger everyday and we need to make sure our world can provide for our growing population. Trees are so important to our survival and our everyday living. We need trees. They are the reason of our existence.

So by planting a tree you are contributing to so many benefits for the earth like more oxygen for us to breathe less carbon dioxide that we make because the trees absorb it in and convert it into oxygen, more trees for paper and everyday uses, more trees for making furniture, more trees for making and constructing houses. This is how and why you should plant a tree, it could save your life, actually no. It is saving your life.

First of all, trees are beautiful. If you have been over to Bedford Park or have taken a drive along the highway, the situation there looks pretty bad. During the past ten years, our town has grown. Trees have been cut down to make room for houses and office buildings. Shopping centers and new roads too. We and our families need a park where we can relax, play, and picnic. For us to breathe, we need trees secondly. If you plant more trees, you will have more oxygen. Trees turn carbon…

I love your idea of incorporating health coaching into your practice. I have the fortunate opportunity to be a part of a program that uses a health coaching model to empower seniors to remain healthy independent and in their homes. The main goal of the program is to prevent hospital admission. The coaching model is designed to meet an individual’s goal. An initial survey is complete with the patient that highlights the active issues for the patient. It is a holistic approach and we are not only concerned with medical needs but social and any other barrier that are presenting a challenge for that patient. Once active issues have been identified the coach works to identify resources to mitigate the need. The coach does not simply…

The growing of our forests seems like a pretty good thing, and it is, but not if it is causing some of our tree species to go extinct. Climate change is shifting the geographic ranges for where the different types of trees grow, and causing some species of trees to grow more northern or at a higher altitude than before. This may not seem like much, but trees that grow more northern than others are getting closer to extinction than we realize. For example, trees that grow on mountain tops can not go anywhere higher and will most likely die off due to the unsuitable climate they live in now. With the average weather temperature getting warmer, drought in particular areas is increasing. “Although many trees are resilient to some degree of drought, increases in temperature could make future droughts more damaging than those experienced in the past” (ww3.epa.gov). Carbon dioxide is a necessary for photosynthesis, along with an acceptable amount of water and nutrients. With more carbon dioxide increasing and not much water available, a tree is not going to be able go through photosynthesis, wasting its potential to be productive, and would result in being…

Planting trees is always helping the environment. Trees provide oxygen for every living thing on earth. They also provide homes the wildlife, and sometimes food as well. They give shade to other plants to protect them from dying, such as cacti. The trees give them shade during summer, and sun during the winter. Palo Verde trees have yellow flowers that grow on them which attract bees. Bees…

WW F Deforestation (2016). Trees play an important part, there limbs and leaves are natural cover over the earth which helps regulate temperatures during the day. There cover protects the earth and wildlife from the sun’s rays and rising temperatures at night, the cover holds in the heat to protect the wildlife from freezing temperatures. Without the proper cover, plants and animals are exposed to harmful and extreme temperatures. These extreme temperatures can cause ideal conditions for forest fires, which can lead to forest degradation (Deforestation.…

Trees can have a positive effect on the climate, by shading the ground, trees cool off the Earth’s temperature. Strategically planting trees around air conditioners, windows and the walls which receive the most sun will help in reducing energy costs. Normally, the best position to plant trees is on the west, east and south. It really depends on a specific geographical location. However, according to American Forests’ research, even urban cities get the benefit of cooler temperatures from trees within distances of 35 miles. In fact, American Forests’ research determined that trees saved approximately $2.8 million…

They are important for the climate of the Earth, they act as filters of carbon dioxide,, and they are also important for their visual demand. However, the trees on our planet are being depleted at a very fast rate. According to some estimates, more than 50 percent of the tree cover has disappeared due to human activity. Although humans have been practicing deforestation since ages Deforestation is the clearance of forests by cutting trees or burning .The truth about Deforestation has been shown. Some people…

Forests serve many purposes on earth and each one of these is a science. Providing timber and raw materials for building homes and furniture is just the beginning. Forests also conserve water with erosion control and natural water quality management. They are the habitat for wildlife which, if disrupted, can devastate a whole area. Forests are also natural sinks for carbon dioxide while emitting oxygen into the atmosphere, provide recreation facilities and are beautiful.…

We need to be conscious of what we are losing when we eradicate our forests. Trees provide us with food, medicine, shelter, and warmth. Almost everything we eat that doesn’t come from an animal comes from plants and trees. Most of the pencils and furniture we use are made from the wood that comes from trees. Trees are necessary for us to survive. They provide us with oxygen so that we can breathe. They also take the carbon dioxide that is bad for us, and could kill us, out of the air, so that they can survive. Trees moderate global temperatures and rainfall, especially when in forests. They cool the earth by providing shade, and recycle water by helping to move rainfall along. And when trees are clustered together in forests, they help these natural causes to work even faster, because there are such a great amount of trees.…

Trees have a huge role to play when it comes to global warming, they are the largest land-based mechanism for removing carbon dioxide from the air. Deforestation is causing this to not happen (Tropical Deforestation, 2011) and is one of the main principles to blame for atmospheric carbon dioxide. Deforestation is partly responsible for carbon emissions entering the atmosphere by the burning and cutting of trees. Each year over thousands of acres in the rainforest is being destroyed. Do to the massive loss of forests it is causing carbon dioxide levels raise more and more as the days go by.…
