This is one of my reasons because the military owns about 2,500 dogs. The military will find a new dog to replace the dog that is being taken. Also the military will probably not care if “Zenit” or any other dog for this matter is going with his soldier. I think this because instead of giving the dogs names the military labels them. One example is Zenit. Zenit was labeled N103.
My third reason why the dogs should be able to go with their owners is because the soldiers know these dogs. They should be able to keep the dogs that THEY trained. I have a problem understanding how the army has soldiers take care of the dogs at the age of puppies and then take them away. Also when do the dogs get to retire, or stop working? The dogs should stop working when their soldier/human does. This is my third reason why service men and women should be able to keep the dogs they had during their time in the service. I can understand why some people could be against this. One reason is because the dogs while in the war can save about 1,000 lives. That is a lot of people, but still dogs can be replaced. Also the military spends a lot of money on 1 dog. They spend about $500 on one
