Questioned concerning death penalty started in Europe when an Italian philosopher Cesare Bonesana published a treatise on crime and punishments in 1764. An advantage of death penalty is that serious crimes have an established final consequence for convicts that cannot act lawfully. Although life in prison sentence punishment is also considered for capital crimes, an increase in criminal behaviour within prison walls is not to be rejected. One of the biggest advantages to keep the death penalty is to prevent the crime from occurring again.
