Capital punishment is often justified by saying that by executing the murders birth of new murders would be prevented. Whereas a serial killer, a person who kills people for his/her interests, deserves a death penalty as a punishment towards the committed crimes. In many countries such as Pakistan and India, people are given death penalty for murdering or robbing sometimes due to corrupted police force which is unfair the criminal as he/she should be given life imprisonment or parole for such crimes. If action may not be taken many people would turn against the government or accuse the laws and would see the negative aspects of capital punishments. Giving punishment would assure the victim or other people by showing justice and that it’s being discouraged while shows the victim that everyone disapproves the act of the criminal. It protects the societies from dangerous and dishonest person as the criminal knows the punishment given for lying or being a threat to a country. Capital punishment harms the society by lowering the value of lives executing people unjustly who commit crime due to poverty, unemployment and illiteracy. For example If a poor teenager who provides his ill parents with basic necessities and wants money for their operation but can’t afford it even with his job and savings would eventually steal money or other expensive things and murder if necessary to hide which would eventually lead him to death penalty. Without any laws, I doubt that any country would be able to survive as every country needs effective laws to create accountability within the societies. Whereas, people with different religion, cast, color and personalities tend to have conflicts and inferiority or superiority complex which leads to one thing towards another.
