Why Should School Be Longer
I think it would be nice to be able to learn a lot more but then the classes would be longer people would fall asleep. Having school for 10 hours seems like a long time we already have 8 hour classes which all you have to do is add two hours. Which is pretty much like a detention but not as bad because you will have a lot more people in the classroom. But if they did this they would have to change their disciplines. The reason they would have to get rid of detention would be because people can’t be staying longer and people wouldn’t want to do that. The reason it would be good for a detention is because people wouldn’t want to stay longer so it would finally click to students that getting in trouble isn’t fun. I do not think it would be nice to have just because it has more cons than pros. I think they should keep school they usually are they should not add time add longer breaks its already equaled out and if they add things or change it school wouldn’t be fair. I am a person who already hates school and hates attending it but if they added more time I had to be in a classroom I would be apart the percentage of drop outs.

They should just do it for a week to see how it would be and if people like it they would do it but if not they wouldn’t use that 4 day weekend. But it would be really nice because your weekends would be longer and we need more time on the weekend.
Because we won’t be able to have that much break for 3 days I always thought we needed more time on the weekends we never get that much times and it goes by really quick. One thing that would be bad about having no school on Fridays there may be some groups and activities people would have to get up just to do their sport and that wouldn’t be cool. If they did this at my high school I would drop out because I don’t think I could handle being in a class for a long time. But the only good thing about that is we wouldn’t have to do that much classes maybe 4-5 instead of 7. Also there wouldn’t be time to do things such as workout and hang out with friends/family you would be at school and wouldn’t give you much time to do things for
yourself. Attending the school would suck they probably would cut back the time you have to come to school maybe they would make 7:00am you would have to show up. This would suck because I already have hard times getting up at 7:00am to attend school at 8:00am. The reason they would most likely do this if we had 4 day school week so we get out as early as we can and so we could have fun time and time to ourselves. It would also be good for all the kids who have to go out of town to visit parents like I have to because my parents are divorced. It would be too long in one classroom I can’t sit in the same spot for too long I would freak out.
Clearly, having 10 hours of school has its pros and its cons because there is some reasons why it sounds like a fun thing but it has its reasons why it would be a bad idea. The main reasons I wouldn’t do this at all would be I am a person who can’t sit in one spot for long I would get bothered and leave. Second reason would have to be because I would want to leave and school would end a lot later and I have things to do. They should never enforce this law on any school because it is just a stupid idea and the percentage of drop outs would be higher.
