Why Should The United States Attack Iraq?
The United States is known as one of the most powerful countries in the world, which can be something great for the nation but, it can also be the worst enemy for another country. With the power that the United States have, there can happen many things that are going to affect negatively to other countries. That was clearly demonstrated when the United States leaders decided to invade Iraq in 2003, Leader of the nation such as George W. Bush who was the President that time, he argued that there were many reasons why the U.S should attack Iraq. Some of those are; Iraq was was a threat for the national safety of the United States and other countries; also, Iraqis being overpressed by Saddam which makes their system non-democratic. The administration
of Bush also argued that Saddam was a threat because it had weapons of mass destruction as another reason to attack Iraq. Those were some of the reasons that the leaders used to justify the invasion or Iraq. However, many other researches have shown how this event was something unnecessary and even an abuse of the power that the United States had during that time. The reasons that the United States said were a mistake because it was proved that Iraq was not not a threat for the United States, all the reasons that the U.S said were wrong and let to a major catastrophe, and there were many negative results after the invasion on Iraq. The United did not act right when the conflict with Iraq started to arise, it was not the better actions that the leaders should had take.
