One of the main reasons American Colonists revolted against the British is because they feel like they are being denied the rights of English men. That is not fair because they cannot just tax a group of people because they wanted to and not let the people speak their mind about it. I know the Englishman had a reason to do this and they thought it was a logical way to handle things, but they didn’t take into consideration how the American Colonists felt about it. So of course, someone was bound to get mad.
American Colonists wanted to fight England and Separate from there because they were tired of being the black sheep. They were willing to do anything to be treated like every other person should be treated. Just think, would you want to be a part of a country that doesn’t think you are the same as them and treat you unfairly and have your OWN country try and make your life harder? No I know for a fact I wouldn’t want to.
Then there is the fact that people didn’t know what to do because they were being taxed and some of them were barely making the money they earned from them job already that being taxed made it even harder because that means that’s even less money to live on and to provide for their families. Why would anyone wish hardship upon any family? I know that King George probably didn’t think he was personally hurting
