Why Thomas Is Braver Than Margot

My topic for my essay is that Tomas is braver than Margot. The Novels I am comparing “The Chair On Top Of The World” compare to “All Summer In A Day”. “The Chair on top of the world” is about a boy named Tomas that inmagine there is a chair that's on the top of the world and the adventure that he had trying to find the chair. The story “All summer in a day” is about a girl named Margot she lives on the planet Venus and the Sun only comes up every 7 years so she seen the actual Sun before but her family moved to Venus from Earth when she was 5, but she want’s to see the Sun again and that day in the story is when the Sun will come up and something happened. Then I will be talking about why Thomas is braver than Margot. The first reason why
Thomas is braver than Margot. My first reason is Thomas is not afraid of challenges. Thomas is not afraid of challenges because in the story Thomas didn’t give up, he went to the first mountain he didn’t found the chair and he went to the second mountain he knows that he needed to climb two mountains. He did not give up on his journey he keep on going he was not afraid of another challenge. But in Margot’s story Margot didn’t do anything she got lock in the room and she give up. She just stood in the room and wait for someone to help her. The second reason for why Thomas is braver than Margot is that Thomas doesn't give

Like I said in the first body paragraph Thomas didn’t give up, he went to the first mountain he didn’t found the chair and he went to the second mountain he knows that he needed to climb two mountains. He did not give up on his journey he keep on going. In the story “All Summer In A Day” Page4/6 “No,” said Margot, falling back.They surged about her, caught her up and bore her, protesting, and then pleading, and then crying, back into a tunnel, a room, a closet, where they slammed and locked the door. They stood looking at the door and saw it tremble from her beating and throwing herself against it. They heard her muffled cries. Th en, smiling, they turned and went out and back down the tunnel, just as the teacher arrived.” you see she was lock into the closet and later everyone went out and play under the sun and she‘s just sitting there but if she was Thomas i’m sure that Thomas won’t give up with what he want. In the story “chair on top of the world” page7/15 “By the time they got down the mountain, they were very tired. “How about we go home and climb the other mountain tomorrow?” suggested Tomas to the unicorn. The unicorn nodded, sat down in the grass at the bottom of the mountain, and fell right to sleep.” in the story Thomas did not give up on his dream and that’s why i’m sure that if Thomas was Margot he wouldn’t give up. Also that’s why Thomas doesn't give
up. The last reason for why Thomas is braver than Margot is that Thomas reaches his goal but Margot does not. At the end of the story Thomas dad made the chair that Thomas wanted that count’s because he still got what he wanted and he’s happy with it. But Margot didn’t saw the sun at the end and she needed to wait more seven years to able to see the sun again so she did not get what she wanted. But Thomas got what he want and he did climb two mountain for what he wanted. Overall I think Thomas is braver than Margot. Because Tomas is not afraid of challenges, He doesn’t give up, he gets his goal and margot does not. At the end Margot was not brave enough to stand up for herself. But Thomas was brave enough to be brave to be on adventure of searching a thing that he wanted. This essay is trying to say that stand up and be brave .
