Why Vaccination Should Be Mandatory
Around the world many children get vaccinated. Vaccination lowers the risk of sickness. Children should get vaccinated early as possible. Vaccinations allow the immune system to recognize and fight off illness. Children should be vaccinated for three reasons. One, being vaccinated can save many children’s lives. Two, vaccination is very safe and effective. Three, being vaccinated can protect others from sickness. To begin with, vaccination can save a child’s life. Vaccines can protect children from illnesses and diseases. Vaccines can also end many deadly diseases. The number of deaths caused by diseases will decrease. According to Vaccine Basics, “Outbreaks of preventable diseases occur when many parents decide not to vaccinate their children.” Vaccinations can also protect the people around. If a child is not vaccinated and goes to school other children can be at risk. …show more content…
“Vaccines are only given to children after a long and careful review by scientists, doctors, and healthcare professionals.” (Vaccines.gov) All vaccines in the U.S. go through testing for years before licensed. Although vaccines may cause pain or redness it is very effective. Side effects of vaccinations are very rare. The effects and benefits of vaccines are greater than the side effects. The effectiveness of vaccines is so power, they can decline an illness or disease. Vaccinations save people money and time. If a child becomes sick then, he or she will have to seek medical attention. “Now if the child gets a serious complication, they may need to be hospitalize.” (Amanda Z. Naprawa) There will be hospital bills, cost of medications, and trips to the doctor. Being vaccinated will save the time it takes to go to the doctor. A child will not be able to attend school or care facilities if not vaccinated. Therefore, the parents will have to stop working to care for the child.
