The assassin who killed Lincoln was named John Wilkes Booth. He was the one who shot Abraham Lincoln in the back of the head with a revolver at Ford’s theatre in Washington, D.C. Lincoln should have never been killed for leading the north. He was doing what he believed was right for all citizens. Lincoln was the biggest leader in the civil war and lead the north to victory.
