Why Was The Bubonic Plague So Devastating
Why the Bubonic Plague (Black Death) was so devastating to Europe

The bubonic plague, was one of the worst disasters, in the history of mankind. I believe that many things were the cause of the bubonic plague being so catastrophic, not just one. One of the biggest factors of the bubonic plague being so devastating, was the doctoring at the time. Second would have to be the effect on religion, when it struck most people would stop believing in god or believe they were being punished. Thirdly would be the discrimination of the Jew’s.

The doctoring at the time was severely affected, since they were ill prepared for something this big to come rolling through so fast and deadly. Their wasn’t as many physicians needed at the time since most

    1346 to 1350 were years of utter hell in the mid-14th century. These were the years of the great pestilence otherwise known as the Black Death.
