Why Was The Civil War Considered The Deadliest War In American History?
The Civil War began April 12, 1861, when confederate forces attacked a U.S union military installation at Fort Sumter in South Carolina. The people from the North were called the Yankees and people from the South were called the Rebels .During the war more than 620,000 lives were lost 375,000 were injured. One of the questions I looked up is why was the civil war considered the deadliest war in American History? When I looked it up to find my answer my answer was that the civil war is considered the deadliest war because during the war soldiers used muskets, repeating rifles, knives and more. One of the reasons the civil war was caused is because there was a lot of attacks.On October 16, 1859 abolitionist John Brown took over the harpers ferry
