Why We Shouldn T Drop Out Of High School
“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” This unknown quote is relevant to high school because, students should not drop out if they don’t reach their goal. Instead they should keep trying. Students should never drop out of high school. Students that drop out will not be very successful in life. Dropping out will teach bad habits , and eventually people will think it’s okay to give up. There are other helping aids and alternatives instead of dropping out of high school. Each year about 1.3 million students drop out of high school in the US (“Facts” 1). High school dropouts will not get far in life. They are always struggling to just get by in life. Students that drop out will not get a good job, or any job at all. Students in high school that drop out are already disqualified for 90% of American jobs (“Facts” …show more content…
Teachers are always willing to help anyone who truly wants help. Those schools help students who are having a rough time keeping up. They keep the students on the right path by encouraging students to stay in school with a positive mindset and relations. Expected benefits of alternative schooling include reducing truancy, improving attitudes toward school , accumulating high school credits, and reducing behavior issues (“Alternative” 4). Types of alternative schools can be any of the following, summer school, charter school, residential school, or a magnet school ( “Alternative” 4). There are all different options that can fit students’ needs. There are always options like finding someone to talk to, if the class is boring, try harder classes, or hang out with different people to change your perspective on it (“Are” 2). Don't drop out of high school keep trying because , students can always change their life around, but they have to put a little more effort
