School uniforms is very unfair because then students feel like there is not really a way to express themselves. Students feel the need to express themselves in what they wear, but by making school uniforms a requirement the students will feel like they can not really express themselves. When kids are getting older they get more creative with there outfits and school uniforms blocks that creativity form the students.

When was the last time you saw a child in their school uniform? Probably quite recently. But have you ever thought how these children feel ? their entire school is wearing the same thing they are wearing? These children wear the same thing every single day they go to school. The only time they get to wear their own style of clothes is on the weekend. Making children wear the same thing everyday, thinking it's a good idea that helps them in school, probably only makes them hate school more. There are many reasons why school uniforms are a bad idea and should not be enforced on children. To start with, to buy them costs a lot of money. Secondly, school uniforms stop the child’s individuality from being expressed, keeping the entire school as…

Throughout the years, there has been much debate with schools across the country on whether or not students should be allowed to wear uniforms. Through past experience with this argument, it’s safe to say that wearing a uniform is not a bad thing at all. Why? For one, uniforms stop other students from being judged on how they look, two, they save families money and students will not pressure their parents into buying clothes some families can’t afford, and lastly uniforms increase safety and security. So I do strongly agree that students should be able to wear uniforms.…

Have you ever played Wheres Waldo? By issuing students school uniforms, finding a problem child would be a lot like playing that game in a real life situation. Just like any other argument you will have your pros and cons of the idea, but in my opinion and many others, the cons highly outweigh the pros of wearing school uniforms. Many intelligent individuals will lose their motivation to excel and be prevalent because they are used to being ordinary like everyone else. School uniforms shout conformity in many ways and to me that isnt the way to get your students to prevail in the classrooms.…

Children should have the right to appropriately dress for school. This right allows them to experiment with their creativity, imagination, and develop their personality. School should support diversity instead of equality by wearing the same outfit, because each and every student is different and unique. Diversity helps individuals to understand one another and helps spark interest. Clothing expresses a person’s rare personality and culture, it should be their right to show their peers their true…

It has the potential to even make it worse if someone can not afford to buy a school uniform. According to Tony Volk, Associative Professor at Brock University, “Overall, there is no evidence in bullying literature that supports a reduction in violence due to school uniforms.” This piece of evidence shows that the use of school uniforms hasn’t changed any type of bullying in schools. According to a Texas Southern University study, violence in schools rose about twelve percent after school uniforms were introduced. This shows that wearing school uniforms doesn’t help with bullying people about their clothing and actually makes bullying and violence worse. School uniforms do not help with bullying and make it worse than it should…

Two separate outfits including: two pairs of pants, two shirts, and a sweatshirt is about $250 to buy. Since kids are constantly growing you would have to buy them more uniforms than that and you would also have to buy them clothes for outside of school so ultimately it's more expensive.…
