Why do we suffer?
Suffering. It exists, but we try to ignore it. Some of us can handle it and push it aside thinking someone else should be suffering, not me, and some of us cant. Very few of us can actually accept that suffering exist, and those same very few people, work extremely hard to get rid of it. Its sad knowing that majority of people that know it exists does not know how to get rid of it. But some people question how to eliminate it and wonder where it comes from. They may think it is from their ancestors or their past life that’s leaving their bad karma on them; they may think its God or the Devil that’s putting them through this; they even may think it is others or themselves that letting their bad …show more content…
Suffering basically originates from one another. They both state that everyone is suffering. In the Buddhism faith, they say that once you are born, you are born into suffering. In Christianity, they say that once you are born, you are born a sin. Both religious views state that there are ways that you can eliminate your suffering. And both religious views state that once you are free from suffering your soul would carry on to somewhere else. Like in Buddhism it says that when you have reached nirvana (which means absolute peace, freedom, and happiness and being free from the cycle of rebirth and death and you gain knowledge on why we suffer and why we exist), then you are free from suffering. And in Christianity, they say that if you keep your faith to God no matter how much obstacles or what obstacles God leads you into, then he would know that you are his child, and would take your soul once you die. So both religious views share the same qualities stating that everyone suffers from suffering. No matter who you are, what you do or what you’ve done, you will experience suffering. They also share the same qualities by stating some rules and ways for you to get out of suffering and once you pass on that’s when you reach
