In an article called “Why You Should Go to the Movies (and Do Other Stuff) Alone” written by Jesse Singal, it explains that most people are uncomfortable with doing things alone and not in groups. It says that people feel judged by others (usually groups) when they are not with anyone. They are seen as if they have no friends. They did a few surveys and social experiments to see how people felt. By doing things alone, the article said that you can meet new people and go out of your comfort zone. Personally, I do agree with the writer and this piece. “...What’s uncomfortable is the idea of other people seeing and judging,” the sixth paragraph states. It is an odd fear, but it happens all the time. We seem to be a society that is always isolated
