William Carlos Williams was born on September 17, 1883 in Rutherford, New Jersey. He was a poet, novelist and a doctor, and worked hard throughout his life. He was one of the principal poets of the Imagist movement. He had his own techniques and I just finished reading "Spring and All" by William Carlos Williams. I realized that Williams also used dashes in his poems just like Emily Dickinson used in her poetry. I also liked how Williams used contrasts between winter and spring, sickness and health and death and birth.
