The staff to residents’ ratio at daytime is 5:32 and 3:15 at night. Willow care homes purpose is to help the elderly with residential, nursing, respite and dementia care. The residents’ rooms are comfortable, well-furnished and come with ensuite facilities. As well as having its own hair salon, Willow care home has a coffee shop – a perfect place for relatives to talk – plus its own cinema room. The home is divided into four suites, and each suite has its own dining room and lounge area. The smaller communities help residents who are living with dementia feel secure. There are daily group and individual activities you can do including, music, games, and event trips. You can also have access to internet; therefore, residents can talk to their loved ones. Willow care home’s gardens are also a big feature. They have wheelchair accessible pathways, seating areas and outdoor space for the warmer months. The residents can also have space for plants and bird feeders. Residents’ health and wellbeing are a vital priority in the care home. The home is close to the health centre and GP surgery, and next door to a Hospital and the Hearing Care Centre. They have developed strong links with local doctors and other healthcare providers who regularly visit the home; therefore, they have a good working relationship and can provide for the resident’s needs.
