NATIVE AMERICANS IN OKLAHOMA THROUGH COOPERATION WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
THE OLD TESTAMENT CALLS FOR A JUST SOCIETY WITHOUT CORRUPTION WHERE MANS RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS DIRECTLY
DEPENDENT ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MAN AND MAN. WILMA WORKED TO IMPROVE RELATIONS WITH THE UNITED STATES
GOVERNMENT PEACEFULLY WHILE ALSO PROMOTING A UNITIY BETWEEN ALL NATIVE AMERICANS.
WILMA MANKILLER EMBODIES MANY IMPRESSIVE PRICIPLES AND TEACHINGS. THE THREE INVOLVED WITH CATHOLIC SOCIAL
TEACHING ARE SOLIDARITY, CALL TO FAMILY AND COMMUNITY, AND OPTION FOR THE POOR. WILMA LOOKED TO PROMOTE A
UNITIVE BOND BETWEEN THE USA AND THE CHEROKEE TRIBE. SHE ACCOMPLISHED THIS THROUGH PROMOTING EQUALITY FOR THE
COMMON NATIVE AMERICAN. THIS IS RELATABLE TO THE OPTION FOR THE POOR. BEFORE HER RISE TO LEADERSHIP, NATIVE
AMERICANS WERE FORCED TO RELOCATE TO THE CITIES WHERE MANY STRUGGLED TO MAINTAIN A LIVING. WILMA BROUGHT MANY
BACK TO OKLAHOMA WHERE SHE IMPROVED THE JOB OUTLOOK AND BROADENED THE EDUCATION SYSTEM. LASTLY, WILMA FELT
CALLED TO LEADERSHIP IN THE CHEROKEE TRUBE, HER COMMUNITY, AND WAS ABLE TO RETURN IT TO
