Winnie The Bear Analysis
"How will my son forgive me?" I say, remembering the horrible past. Years ago, I made a terrible mistake that I regret to this day. Being the creator of the one of a kind Winnie the Pooh, I inherited my own son, Christopher Robin, in the stories. Little did I know, that my son would get taunted for his character in the stories.
"I am so sorry my son, please come back to me. Don't leave your mother alone when I die," I scold to myself. Now my son has left me alone in my house; I wait patiently every day, hoping for the return of my dear son Christopher Robin. There is a long story, to why I face such a problem.
"Father, can I please feed the bear?" said Christopher Robin. My son wanted to feed the bear, Winnie, at the zoo. I allowed him, yet

Milne, I'd be honored to," said Ernest in a joyful tone. "I can picture it now...Winnie the Pooh, and Christopher Robin," I said to Ernest. "That sounds great sir," said Ernest. Believe it or not, Winnie the Pooh is just the name of my son's teddy bear, Pooh, and his favorite black bear from the zoo, Winnie, put together. I also incorporated some of his other toys as characters.
A reporter asked, "How do you create such creative ideas for little kids?" "It's no secret...you may not believe me, but it's just my son's childhood toys. Like Kanga,
Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore, they are my son's stuffed animals." I stated.
I created many books that became a huge success. "Wow, I love these books," said one of my many child fans. Not only children, but people of all ages became fanatics of my books. My first Winnie the Pooh story in 1925, was a bedtime story. I created more and more when time went on. This success also started before my first book in 1924. I created When We Were Very Young, which was so successful, that it sold over 50,000 copies.
Reporters would ask, "What was an inspiration to make you so successful?" "Of course it was my son, Christopher, “I would say every time. If only he could understand my intentions, to see him be as successful as

The original Curious George books for which these authors are most popular include: Curious George (1941), Curious George Takes a Job (1947), Curious George Rides a Bike (1952), Curious George Gets a Medal (1957), Curious George Flies a Kite (1958), Curious George Learns the Alphabet (1963), and Curious George Goes to the Hospital (1966). This is not the first time Curious George existed in the couples writing, however. The curious monkey made his debut in the first children’s story book they ever published in 1939 called “Cecily G. and the 9 Monkeys.” This book was both written and illustrated by H.A. Rey after he was asked by an editor to create a story about one of his cartoon giraffes drawn for the paper. Publishers and readers alike really enjoyed the character of Fifi, who would soon be named Curious George and continue on with his own series.…

As a human being, anger is an unavoidable emotion. It is close to impossible to control other people’s reactions, but how you control your reactions depend entirely on you. George Jean Nathan said, “No man can think clearly when his fists are clenched.” Meaning no person can make the correct decision when they are being driven by their anger. It’s difficult to handle strong emotions, but it takes an even stronger person to learn how.…

Cole is a dynamic character and has defiantly changed throughout the story. I know this because at the beginning of the book he tries to kill the Spirit Bear and it says "Cole found courage in the Spirit Bear's stillness. It must have been scared. Why else would it just stand there instead of attacking? Cole felt his smoldering anger ignite"(Mikaelsen 64). In this example, Cole attacks the Spirit Bear simply because he thought it defined him. He also doesn't appreciate nature and thinks he can take it down. Cole thinks life is useless until he thinks about the baby sparrows. Cole thinks," The sparrows were so frail, helpless, and innocent. They hadn't deserved to die"(Mikaelsen 82). You can tell he defiantly has a change of heart when he…

Not many novels are comparable to Flannery O’Connor’s The Violent Bear it Away. Perhaps this is due in part to her skillful composition, but O’Connor’s blunt addressal of the natural struggle between faith and reason is strikingly convicting. Raised in the south in a predominantly Catholic family, O’Connor herself was no stranger to the concepts, using her experiences to create a composition that is deeply personal. O’Connor uses the themes of faith and reason as means of bearing her true beliefs to the reader, drawing them in further to the mesmerizing work that is The Violent Bear it Away.…

Luther Standing Bear observed the White men treat his family, nature, horribly. As detailed in the guided reading, the White men cut down many trees and destroyed dams, belonging to beavers. The White men caused great destruction among nature and its habitants, while Luther Standing Bear watched in anguish. Luther Standing Bear felt nature was as close to him as his wife and children, but the White men, according to their actions, felt nature was an awful bother. William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody is a prime example. Buffalo Bill was a White man and, according to his actions, he felt only bison were important in nature. Buffalo Bill slaughtered a vast amount of bison over a period of one year to feed his construction crew and interrupted…
