Having two younger sisters who also strive for an education at UW-La Crosse, I hope to be a strong leader for them to follow in my footsteps. Being aware that this is a highly secure community reassures myself that I am always safe. For the sake of myself, future friends and classmates, knowing that campus patrol is available helps ease the mind. I adore how there is a Suicidal Ideation, Gestures, Attempt or Hospitalization Protocol for students, faculty and staff so they know how to recognize if a certain individual is having unhealthy thoughts. As well as the protocol the Univeristy watches for, there is also monitoring for hate. Hate can arise from a different race, religion, ethnic background, sexual orientations gender identity, disability, or nationality. I believe that every individual deserves the same treatment as one another, so being aware the University has specified forms for this has gained my appreciation.
With an impeccable academic program, I can be confident with my education every day. The various clubs and community are the next best qualities that would have a significant benefit to my college experience; therefore, the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse is crucial for the next four years of my life and beyond. Nevertheless, La Crosse is a superior community filled with plentiful amounts of aspiration and
