I am Cynthia Preciado and I am going to be interviewing Abigail Parris. Abigail Parris is the niece of Reverend Parris and the cousin of Betty Parris. We are going to find out about Betty’s illness. Is Abigail the cause of all this trouble? We’ll find out.
Q1: Hello Abigail, I am going to be asking you a couple of questions about Betty’s illness and the event that occurred in the forest. So what happened in the forest, did you tell the girls to go to the forest and dance, practicing witchcraft?
A1: Um, no I did not. Tituba was the one that told me and the girls to dance and sing. The cause of Betty to faint was most likely the practice of witchcraft.
Q2: What makes you believe that witchcraft would cause her fainting?

Q3: I heard that Reverend Parris said that he saw Tituba chanting over a cauldron and that he also saw a naked body running away from the forest? Second of all, you even denied the fact that there was no witchcraft to Reverend Parris... Why?
A3: It was just Tituba singing songs from Barbados which is her homeland and no one was naked when we danced in the forest. I’m just telling you guys what we did that’s all I’m going to say.
Q4: That’s what’s so confusing, you keep mixing up your story… now tell why did you not mention that they drank blood in order to kill John Proctor’s wife?
A4: I do not know what you’re talking about… That never happened; the only thing that happened was that we were surrounding the pot dancing and singing.
Q5: Then why did Elizabeth fire you as a servant... Wasn’t it because you had an affair with her husband John Proctor.. is that why you drank chicken blood, hoping that Tituba to do some sort of spell to kill her so you
