WITHOUT COMPUTER OUR LIFE
When making any document whether it be an expository write-up or just a plain correspondence, my brain works well when my fingers are striking the key board and words just come free flowingly as if bits of my brain are on my fingers. But, give me a pen and paper to write on, and it seems that ideas are clogged and my fingers are tied to translate the abstract picture into decipherable notes. Indeed I have found efficiency physically and mentally in typing what is in my mind rather than writing it using a pen. It may sound embarassing that as I increase my typing speed, my handwriting gradually becomes as horrible as the handwriting of my pre-schooler!

The list of information and things you can do using the internet both on the personal and professional aspect is endless. Digital technology provides us with a means of communication, information, learning, interacting with people from any part of the globe, job search, career development, shopping, selling, and many endless possibilities.

Digital evolution is coming everyday and it is not surprising why the PC or the mobile phone with their amazing features which you have just purchased a month ago has become obsolete by now. I couldn’t imagine how we survived decades ago without the internet. Working in another country far from my family, I couldn’t imagine how expatriates working abroad before computer was invented, had survived the agony of being far from their love ones. Nowadays, e-mails, instant messenger and video chatting has been the ordinary tool for connecting people from different parts of the world. It is amazing to ponder how wireless gadgets can connect two different places many, many miles away from each other.

The pace of modern life is such that it is difficult to imagine how life would be without computer and internet. Innovations coming everyday are both amazing and scary in equal measures.

Becoming more and more dependent on my PC to fix my daily routines at

The later Protestant Churches generally date their doctrinal separation from the Roman Catholic Church to the 16th century. The Reformation began as an attempt to reform the Roman Catholic Church, by priests who opposed what they perceived as false doctrines and ecclesiastic malpractice—especially the teaching and the sale of indulgences or the abuses thereof, and simony, the selling and buying of clerical offices—that the reformers saw as evidence of the systemic corruption of the Church's hierarchy, which included the pope. Parallel to events in Germany, a movement began in Switzerland under the leadership of Ulrich Zwingli. These two movements quickly agreed on most issues, but some unresolved differences kept them separate. Some followers of Zwingli believed that the Reformation was too conservative, and moved independently toward more radical positions, some of which survive among modern day Anabaptists.…

Something that the people of today need to ask themselves is, what if all these technologies to stop working? As the world of technology has had so many advancements in the last 100 years, the usage of technology is immensely greater than any other time period. People use technology throughout their entire lives, from driving to work everyday, to posting a status on Facebook about what they ate last night. People are relying on technology that they forget basic necessities of life. In an article written by Kenneth M. The digital divide is beginning to close. The flow of digital information – through mobile phones, text messaging, and the Internet – is now reaching the world’s masses, even in the poorest countries, bringing with it a revolution in economics, politics, and society. In my opinion, the technological innovation that has had the greatest impact on our lives in this country today would be the mobile telecommunication technology. For the last ten to fifteen years, mobile phones have changed our lives in such a way that no other technological change has before. Earlier, people used to book telephone calls in advance, had to go and use near the telephone booths, or sit beside a physical telephone instrument kept in the drawing room of a house, and attend to, or make calls stuck to a place. Now, people simply carry a 200 gram device in their pockets and can travel the world, always connected to their loved ones and business partners, no matter in whatever remote part of the world they are. (However, in certain countries, mobile coverage…

Despite the many benefits of computers, there are also a number of arguments against them, one of which is the negative effect some believe they are having on children's education. Illiteracy is a growing issue, and many say that computers are to blame. In the past few years, many teachers have taken to shuffling their students off to a computer to type out short, quick assignments that could easily be written out by hand. While this is not much of an issue for older students, it is an issue for the younger students who are just learning to read and write. Regardless of how much we are coming to rely on computers, printing and handwriting are a necessary skill to have. But typing out assignments has an effect on more than just the ability to print; it can also negatively impact their spelling and grammar. While most programs now have spelling and grammar-check, they are not foolproof; they cannot differentiate between groups of words that have the same spelling but different meanings and will often times suggest corrections that are not, in fact, correct. Furthermore, information is…
