Kandinsky’s colour theory is credible as he was a Russian painter and art theorist that studied art at Moscow’s state university and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. His colour theory involves detailed explanation of each colour and how each colour is able to express a different feeling or emotion. Since the Wizard of Oz includes a variety of colours this theory was helpful in explaining what the significant colours in the novel symbolize. …show more content…
