Education, undoubtedly, is identified as one of the critical key issue for women empowerment. Mahatma Gandhi’s words also corroborates the same- educate a girl and you will educate a whole family, educate boy and you will educate an individual only.
An educated woman knows her responsibility towards their family and society more than a man. Women education can be seen as major way out for population control and its effect is almost tangible in increased sex ratio, increased marital age of women, decreased birth rate and greater share of women in primary, secondary and tertiary sector of economy.
Our society can be viewed as a wall and men & women are analogous to brick and concrete respectively. As brick always remains most tangible element of wall but without concrete i.e. binding agent, a wall cannot withstand a little force of wind irrespective of no. of bricks it contains. Quality inherited in concrete is of paramount importance to construct a strong wall. In the same way, women are acting as binding agent of family & society and their contribution can only be increased by empowering them.
