The Middle Ages did not accomplish much change in the scientific field, the believes of the world was controlled by the Catholic church which teach was based on the legacy of the Ancient Greece. The Enlightenment gave women the thoughts that they as women where capable of more then just house chores. It was a chans for women to think for themselves and to come to the conclusion that they where equal to men. The Industrial Revolution also gave women a push into the workforce and gave them a chance to actually prove to themselves and others that they where more then just the pretty housewives, they maintained their households but also helped support the war. The fist World War gave women the push they needed to enter a male-dominant society and they finally had the opportunity to show the world that they had just as much to contribute and had the right to take on as much responsibility as the men.
